Health Insurance for MA Programs

For international students of MA programs at TAU, some will have health insurance fees included in the program tuition, and some will not. Please find your program below and follow the instructions accordingly. In all cases, acquiring health insurance for the duration of your stay in Israel is mandatory.

Graduate Programs with Health Insurance

For confirmed students in the following programs, the health insurance fee is included in the program tuition:

Process for Getting Health Insurance

Insurance can only be issued 1 month prior to the start date of the program.
All confirmed students will be contacted by our health insurance team 2 months prior to the beginning of your program.
You will be required to submit a health declaration online.
We will not be able to issue your insurance until we receive this completed form.

Please note:

For students extending their period of studies (i.e., you are enrolled as a “Thesis student” or “Additional Year” student), extending your insurance will be at an additional fee.
The insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions.
If you are an Israeli resident with state healthcare (Kupat Holim card in Hebrew), you will be offered the option to waive the school’s insurance and submit a waiver form to the health insurance team.

Graduate Programs without Health Insurance

For students in the following programs, the health insurance fee is not included within the program tuition. Students are required to purchase insurance independently, for the entire duration of their stay in Israel.
