Career Opportunities

Graduates have found positions teaching in schools, in higher education, and in other private and public educational contexts - in Israel, in their home countries, and around the globe. Some have opened their own programs, such as an English-speaking nursery school in Israel, some are working as English language coaches in the business sector, in educational publishing, and in language testing and consulting. Others have continued on to PhD programs in prestigious universities around the world.

*Please note that teaching certification is required in order to teach in public schools and requirements vary (for example, in the USA, requirements may vary from state to state). In Israel, a graduate of the TESOL program is expected to get a teaching certification through the Ministry of Education – some course requirements will have already been fulfilled by the TESOL program.
