The Lowy International full-time students are eligible to live in TAU provided housing, pending availability. (For information on housing for Study abroad or short term programs, please go HERE). TAU housing includes the Einstein dormitories complex, which is adjacent to campus (based on availability) and the Broshim dormitories complex, located about 10 minutes walking distance from the Einstein dormitories on the other side of campus. For more information and video tours at the different dorm apartments, please refer to the relevant tab (Einstein / Broshim).

Depending on enrollment, there may be cases where students are housed in off-campus TAU apartments (provided their home school approves of this). The TAU apartments are in the city center within a 30-minute commute of the campus. This primarily applies to students on a Study Abroad Spring semester.

During the confirmation process, which takes place on the student portal prior to arrival, students have the opportunity to request housing, and to request specific roommates or suitemates. While we do our best to accommodate such requests, it is absolutely not guaranteed and students should not assume otherwise. In addition, during the confirmation process, students may indicate if there are special circumstances to note for housing purposes. While we also cannot guarantee special accommodations can be met, we take all requests into consideration and do what we can to accommodate needs.

Contact the housing team at housing@tauex.tau.ac.il for questions or issues relating to TAU provided housing.

Please note that the following items are not supplied by TAU in any of the housing:

  • Pillows or blankets
  • Linens (sheets, pillowcases)
  • Towels
  • Kitchen utensils
  • Household goods (such as dishtowels, cleaning supplies, etc.)

See the Packing List and Pre-Departure Checklist for more information on what to bring with you or consult the Pre-Departure Handbook sent to you with your admissions email as this has extensive information on how to prepare for arrival.

TAU is not able to reimburse students for early withdrawal from TAU Housing including the dorms (See Refund Policy for more information).
