Tel Aviv University Staff Exchange Program
The Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility Program is an EU initiative that funds administrative staff to participate in a training period of one week (five working days and two days of travel) at leading universities throughout Europe. This is an extensive, unique, and worthwhile opportunity to expand professional skills while adding an international element.
The program aims to expose employees to different organizational cultures and allows them to meet new colleagues from across Europe and beyond while equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed in a dynamically changing society.
There are two types of opportunities:
1. International Training Week (available at specific institutions)
As part of the training week, you'll be networking with faculty and staff from the host institution and colleagues from other institutions worldwide. The host institution organizes several workshops on relevant topics during the week, offering a specific theme each week.
Important: International Training Weeks are available only to staff members who hold a position in a relevant field at TAU. You should contact the International Development Office for more information and assistance.
2. Shadowing
Shadowing is a training framework that enables you to shadow and experience the daily work routine of colleagues at host institutions. You'll be exposed to different ways of working and understand their professional dilemmas and practical tools used by host institutions. This program is customized and built personally, requiring you to contact host institutions and create a program tailored to your needs and capabilities.
Important:
- Deadline for the application submission to TAU: January 12, 2026
- Travel authorization is not automatic and we have limited allocations for each TAU department. An internal committee will evaluate all applications only after receiving all nominations.
- While the University encourages diversity, they will prioritize first-time applicants.
- The host institution will have final approval.
- The travel days will be recognized (for the selected employees) as training days/absence with pay, subject to final approval by the Human Resources Department. More information available here.

התכנית לחילופי סגל מנהלי של אוניברסיטת תל אביב
תכנית ארסמוס+ של האיחוד האירופי מציעה מלגות להשתלמות לחברי/ות הסגל מנהלי לתקופה של שבוע (5 ימי עבודה ו-2 ימי נסיעה) באוניברסיטאות מובילות ברחבי אירופה. זוהי הזדמנות מעולה להרחיב את סל הכישורים המקצועיים שלכן.ם.
מטרת ההשתלמות היא חשיפת העובד לתרבות ארגונית שונה, היכרות ולמידת מערכות ושיטות עבודה חדשות, יצירת קשרים עם בעלי תפקידים מקבילים במוסד השותף וייצוג אוניברסיטת תל אביב.
קיימים שני סוגי השתלמות:
א. שבוע הכשרה מאורגן (מוצע על ידי חלק מהמוסדות בלבד).
במסגרת שבוע ההכשרה, תיפגשו עם עמיתים מהמוסד המארח, ועם עמיתים ממוסדות אחרים בעולם. המוסד המארח מארגן מספר סדנאות בנושאים רלוונטיים במהלך השבוע, וההשתלמות מהווה סדנת הכשרה.
שבועות ההכשרה הבינלאומיים מיועדים לסגל מנהלי המכהן בתפקיד רלוונטי. צרו קשר עם המחלקה לפיתוח בינלאומי למידע נוסף ועזרה בנושא.
ב. השתלמות באמצעות ליווי צל (Shadowing).
השתלמות זו מהווה הזדמנות ייחודית לחוות את שגרת העבודה היומיומית של העמית.ה. במסגרת ההשתלמות תיחשפו לאופי העבודה במשרד המקומי, הדילמות המקצועיות ולכלים הפרקטיים בהם מבצעים שימוש המוסדות המארחים. ההשתלמות הינה אישית, ובה הנכן.ם נדרשות.ים ליצור קשר עם המוסד המארח ולבנות תכנית חניכה המותאמת לצרכיכן.ם.
