1. Review the list of relevant institutions and select your preferred institution. It is the applicant’s responsibility to a relevant host at their preferred institution. Employees traveling during International Training Week must obtain a complete training program. Employees traveling for shadowing must obtain a weekly training program (built together with your host institution). Each training program must be at least 10 hours, over five days.

 

2. Complete your work plan schedule in the attached form. The applicant’s manager (at TAU) must sign the travel-training program and attach a letter of recommendation outlining the relevance of the training period to your field of occupation.

 

3. Obtain recognition of the travel days for training for a standard employee / Absence in pay for a project employee at this form

 

4. After finalizing the study program and obtaining all relevant approvals, applicants must complete this form.

 

5. After submitting, an internal committee will examine the request according to the criteria below and approve or reject the application.

 

6. If accepted, a candidate must submit a copy of their valid passport to TAU International (office).

 

Important Information

 

A. Please attach an English CV only to the application. CVs in Hebrew will not be accepted.

 

B. The employee undertakes to purchase travel insurance abroad before traveling. The funding does not cover travel insurance.

 

C. The training program will take place entirely in English. By applying, the employee confirms that they possess a suitable level of English (speaking, reading, and writing) to allow for successful training.

 

D. Applications can be submitted to several institutions (according to the employee's preference), but acceptance is limited to only one institution.

 

E. After returning to Israel, the employee must write a concluding report detailing the professional tools acquired during the training. If directed to do so by their manager, the employee may be required to present their concluding report to other members of their team/department.
