Housing for Study Abroad Program Students
We are pleased to announce that as of Fall 2020, Study Abroad students will be housed in the new Broshim Dormitories! More information and sample apartment videos of Broshim dorms can be found here. Note that the Einstein dorms facilities may be used for overflow housing demand.
The Broshim Dormitories are conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from campus. In the new complex designed especially for international students, students will enjoy a single bedroom located either in a shared or studio apartment. All Broshim living spaces are furnished and contain a kitchenette, bathroom, WIFI, A/C and heating, and cable TV. In addition, on the Broshim premises, students have easy access to a self-service laundry facility, a student lounge, a full-size grocery store, a café, and more.
In all TAU Housing options, students are expected to provide their own bedding supplies and linens (pillow, sheets, towels, comforter), kitchen utensils, and cleaning supplies.
While students cannot make specific requests for housing placement locations during the application confirmation process, students eligible for housing will have the opportunity to request specific roommates or suitemates. We do our best to accommodate such requests, but it’s not guaranteed, and please don’t assume otherwise.
Students may also indicate during the confirmation process if there are special circumstances to take into consideration for housing purposes. We cannot guarantee special accommodation requests can be met, but we do what we can to accommodate needs when possible.
Students with confirmed housing placements will receive their housing location address in the weeks leading up to arrival.
