Academic Staff Exchange
- Choose the Erasmus+ partner institution from the list. Contact TAU's partnerships coordinator at partnerships@tauex.tau.ac.il to check the opportunities available with the chosen institution.
- Contact the relevant people from the chosen partner university and agree on the details of your visit with them. Collaborate on the detailed teaching plan (the topics of the lectures, dates, and the duration of each lecture). Teaching mobility under Erasmus+ requires teaching at least 8 hours per week at the host university.
- Receive an invitation email from your host and the travel approval of the head of your academic unit.
- Ask your host and their local international office for the personal Erasmus+ Mobility Agreement. Fill in the agreement, sign it yourself, and receive the signature from the host institution.
- Please note that TAU can sign such agreements only after the signature of the European institution that provides the funds.
- Mobility agreement templates.
- Add the following information to your Mobility Agreement, in the Sending Organisation field:
Name: Tel Aviv University
Faculty/Department: The Lowy International School
Erasmus code: E10209144
Contact person name and position: Yana Fisher, Agreements and Partnerships Coordinator
Contact person's email / phone: partnerships@tauex.tau.ac.il; +972(0)73-380-4538
- Send the signed agreement, invitation email, and approval of the head of your unit to the TAU Partnerships coordinator at partnerships@tauex.tau.ac.il.
- Fill out the form for TAU outgoing staff before the mobility. It is needed for TAU internal purposes.
* You may be asked to make a short video testimonial describing your mobility experience after returning. This may be needed for marketing purposes and may be published on TAU’s communication platforms.
Insurance
It is the responsibility of the staff member to purchase medical insurance and third-party insurance for the entire period of stay at the host institution (including travel), according to state & host institution laws and regulations.
