 Long-term Programs (BA, BSc, MA)

As of this academic year, in addition to mentioning on the confirmation form that you require dorms, students will also be required to fill out an online housing application form, on which each student can specify their preference of dorm type.

Please note that we can only take into consideration the dorm students who are fully confirmed – this application form should be sent to the students who are already confirmed via email.

Please note: for long-term programs, a non-refundable deposit of the first month’s rent will be required to secure dorms.

The housing department will contact only fully confirmed students who submitted the abovementioned housing application form. We will share the instructions and payment deadline to secure the spot – note that this will be sent to the email address that you registered in the Lowy International student portal.

If the non-refundable deposit is not paid by the designated deadline, the spot in the dorms will be canceled. You can register for a waiting list, subject to availability.

Please note: there is no guarantee for a specific type of apartment, even after submitting the housing application form. We will offer each student their highest priority pending availability, but this cannot be guaranteed and should not be assumed.

 Study Abroad Programs

Study Abroad students (excluding ELI GAP students) requesting housing, who submit the confirmation form in time will most likely be successful in securing housing. The Lowy International School decides on housing placements based on availability at the time.

TAU may provide off-campus housing to study abroad if there is no further availability on campus. For students joining from another university, their home school must first approve.

Single rooms are not available for spring 2025 students, only doubles.

It is important to note that while law students have a different calendar than study abroad students, they are only provided housing in alignment with the study abroad calendar start/end dates. Please be aware of this when reviewing housing/confirming housing.

 Exchange Students

Exchange students are welcome to apply for campus housing; oftentimes, you will be housed in shared room apartments in the Einstein dormitories; if there is availability, we will also offer other campus housing options.

Note that we cannot guarantee a specific type of apartment, since it is based on availability.

 Short-term Programs

Short-term students may be housed in either the Einstein or Broshim dormitories.

Kindly note that housing for summer students is not guaranteed and is based on availability only.
