All above prices are per month.
TAU International’s housing prices include all bills and fees, i.e. electricity and water bills (up to ILS 250 per month), city tax (“Arnona”) and 17% VAT.
Please note that the above prices are true for the academic year 2021-22.
Long-term programs (BA, BSc, MA)
As of this academic year (2021-22), in addition to mentioning on the confirmation form that you require dorms, students will also be required to fill an online housing application form, on which each student can specify their preference of dorm type.
Please note that we are only able to take in consideration for dorms students who are fully confirmed – this application form should be sent to the students who are already confirmed via email.
Please note: for long-term programs, a non-refundable deposit of the first month’s rent will be required in order to secure dorms.
The housing department will contact only fully confirmed students who submitted the above-mentioned housing application form. We will share the instructions and payment deadline to secure the spot – note that this will be sent to the email address that you registered in the TAU International student portal.
If the non-refundable deposit is not paid by the designated deadline, the spot in the dorms will be cancelled. You will be able to register to a waiting list, subject to availability.
Please note: there is no guarantee for a specific type of apartment, even after submitting the housing application form. We will offer each student their highest priority pending availability, but this cannot be guaranteed and should not be assumed.
Study Abroad programs
Study Abroad students will usually be placed in shared apartments or single room apartments, pending availability.
Depending on enrolment, there may be cases where spring semester Study Abroad students will be housed in TAU apartments (provided their home school approves of this). The TAU apartments are in the city centre, within a 30-minute commute of the campus, and a transportation stipend is provided to students placed there.
Short-term programs
Short-term program students will usually be placed in roommate apartments in Einstein or Broshim, pending availability.
