Health Insurance for Study Abroad Programs
For confirmed students in Study Abroad programs, health insurance is mandatory and the fee is included in the program tuition.
This includes:
- Semester / Year programs
- Summer Institute programs (check with the program coordinator that your program is eligible for health insurance coverage)
Process for Getting Health Insurance
Approximately one month prior to the beginning of your program, all confirmed students will be contacted by our health insurance team via email. You will receive an email with your insurance number and instructions on how to use the health services.
Please note:
- For students extending their period of studies beyond the defined program dates, the insurance will be at an additional fee.
- The insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions.
Only for Full-Year Students
To be covered by insurance for 5 months or longer, you will be required to submit an online health declaration form. We will not be able to issue your insurance until we receive this completed form.
