International students at Tel Aviv University may be eligible for a range of scholarships and funding options to help support their studies. These include scholarships offered through the Lowy International School and Tel Aviv University, as well as external scholarships provided by governments, foundations and other organizations.

Students from Latin America and Brazil
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarships for foreign students
The Government of Israel is pleased to offer scholarships for summer language courses and academic-year courses to foreign students from the following countries: Argentina, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada (Quebec Province), China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France. Georgia, Germany, Greece, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Latvia, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Republic of Serbia, Romania, Russia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Taiwan, Turkey and Ukraine.
Eligible programs:
- A full academic year (8 months from October to June) for the following programs: MA/PhD/Post Doctorate/Overseas and International program/Special program.
- A 3 week Hebrew language program scholarship over the summer.

Peisach Scholarship Fund
* Candidates must first apply to the program of their choice and be accepted.
This is a merit-based scholarship covering partial tuition fees to applicants coming from Latin America and Brazil enrolled in any TAU International program (Short Term programs, Semester/Year study abroad programs and Full Degree programs - Undergraduate and Graduate).
To be considered, applicants must:
- Demonstrate academic excellence by presenting transcripts from previous academic institutions.
- Be accepted or confirmed to their program of choice at TAU.
- Degree students: Submit the scholarship application by July 30.
- Study abroad/summer programs: Submit the scholarship application by May 15.
Important: One of the conditions for receiving a scholarship for full-degree students is participating in the Lowy Student Ambassador Club and completing the assignments fully.

The Brazilian Friends of TAU established a fund to support Brazilian students to come and study at Tel Aviv University. These grants can be applied to help cover tuition for participation in our International Undergraduate and Graduate Degree Programs.

BRASA Foundation Scholarship
Students from Mexico
The Mexican Friends of Tel Aviv University have established a fund to enable students from Mexico to come and study at Tel Aviv University.
The scholarship is available to support candidates to Full Bachelor's and Master's Degrees programs.
The candidates must be accepted to their program of choice before having their scholarship application reviewed.
If you are selected, you could receive up to 50% funding for your program.

Students from Uruguay
Scholarships of the Uruguayan Friends of Tel Aviv University
The Uruguayan Friends of Tel Aviv University supports students from Uruguay who have been accepted to study at Tel Aviv University in a Study Abroad Program, Gap Year, MA, BA, BSc, Ulpan, or a Summer Program. Recipients of the scholarship must be from Uruguay.
The scholarship is intended to support the overall costs of participation; award amounts will vary according to the program and the applicant but will not exceed more than 50% of the program cost.
