Who is a Lowy International School student ambassador?

As a student ambassador at TAU, you'll represent Tel Aviv University and the Lowy International School by sharing your experiences with prospective students, peers, and global audiences. The program, while a requirement for scholarship recipients, is an opportunity to build your network, grow professionally, and leave your mark on the international student experience at TAU.

What does an ambassador do?

As a representative of the Lowy International community, you will engage with and present our message to various audiences.

There are five tracks to choose from:

Recruitment: You'll have the chance to participate in recruitment events and connect with potential students during campus tours, webinars, and other activities in the city. Great for students who enjoy face-to-face interactions.

Unibuddy Platform: You'll be registered on a chat-based platform where prospective students can ask university-related questions and help applicants make informed decisions. Great for students who prefer digital communications.

Community: You'll assist in community-building initiatives within TAU's international school, including organizing, creating, and promoting student events, outdoor trips, and administrative tasks. Great for students who care about building active, engaged communities.

Social Media: You'll collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content on TAU’s social channels for your fellow and future peers and alumni. Great for students who love storytelling and digital media.

Each task is a unique opportunity to showcase your experience here in Tel Aviv and student life on campus, especially for those unfamiliar with Israel's vibrant culture.

How does it work?

Becoming an ambassador is a requirement for the Lowy scholarship recipients. Scholarship recipients must complete several tasks as part of their scholarship contract.

However, the Ambassador Club is also open to all Lowy international students! Everyone is welcome to join and use their talent to promote Tel Aviv University and can choose the capacity in which you would like to participate.
