Tel Aviv University Continues to Top Entrepreneurship Ranking

TAU ranked first in Israel and seventh globally for nurturing successful entrepreneurs

For the second consecutive year, Tel Aviv University has secured first place among universities outside the U.S. and seventh place in the world in the prestigious PitchBook entrepreneurship ranking, surpassing renowned American institutions such as Columbia, Yale, and Princeton, among others.

 

Our undergraduate alumni have excelled on the global entrepreneurial arena, with an impressive 825 entrepreneurs who have founded a total of 692 companies. These businesses have raised an astounding $26.3 billion in capital, showcasing the exceptional talent and determination of our alumni.

 

Some of the notable companies founded by TAU graduates include Fireblocks with $1.0 billion in capital raised, Celsius with $989 million, Varo with $992 million, Next with $886 million, and Generate with an impressive $4.1 billion.

 

 

 

TAU also ranks 13th globally for the number of startup founders with MBAs and 17th for those with graduate degrees.

 

TAU consistently maintains a strong standing in the female founders ranking as well, once again claiming a spot in the top 20 for undergraduate alumnae this year and placing 14th for MBA holders.

 

The University is committed to fostering a thriving startup culture on campus and offers an extensive support and development system for aspiring entrepreneurs.

 

Every year, the business data firm Pitchbook releases a list that ranks the top 100 universities in the world based on the number of graduates who have successfully secured funding from venture capital firms over the past decade.
