The TAKA program is designed for students who at least graduated high school and wish to pursue a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, or a PhD in Hebrew at an Israeli college or university. The goals of the program are to offer students intensive preparation for academic studies in Hebrew, to provide an instant social circle and support system, and to improve the students' language skills needed to study at an Israeli academic institution. At the end of the program students will be acquainted with study possibilities at TAU.

This intensive program, offered twice a year, focuses on intensive Hebrew studies, English studies, as well as courses taught in Hebrew (such as Statistics, International Relations, or Israeli Society). Operated in collaboration with the Ministry of Absorption, students from around the world learn while experiencing Israel.
