Research work

Research #1

A cutting-edge research involving the development of metal-halide perovskite LEDs and laser technology. The research involves the deposition of perovskite layers and their patterning using a variety of techniques such as E-beam lithography and Nano Imprint Lithography. The project is a collaboration between Tel-Aviv University and Columbia University in NYC.

Research #2

Cutting-edge research program involving the development of novel metal-halide perovskite LEDs and laser technology. The program is a 5-year collaboration with Linköping University, Sweden. The research involves the processing and patterning of perovskite layers obtained from Linköping using a variety of techniques such as E-beam lithography and Nano Imprint Lithography. The developed technology could be the basis for the development of a new generation of bright and efficient displays, environmental-friendly illumination, etc.

Research #2 - MSc/PhD/Postdoc in Optics & Photonics
Publication date:
January 16 2023
Position Type:
All Levels
About the position:

The position includes several tasks, such as the design of perovskite-based LEDs and lasers, their fabrication, and optical/electrical characterization. In addition, depending on the specific position (postdoc/grad student) supervision over graduate students or collaboration with other researchers would be part of the job. The position would also include involvement with scientific paper writing and potentially participation in grant proposal preparation.

Candidacy Requirements:

Depending on the specific position. For postdocs, a PhD in EE/Physics/Chemistry/Material science with an emphasis on optics/photonics (only candidates who obtained their PhD degree after 2019 will be considered). BSc/MSc in EE/Physics/Material Science for MSc/PhD positions.  For candidates with a PhD or MSc degree, experience in experimental optical characterization is required. Also required are a good command of English, communication and personal relation skills, the ability to work in a team, and a passion for research and science.
Experience in nano-fabrication is an advantage.
