Neuroscience, Life Sciences
We are interested in understanding structure-function relationships in molecular systems related to signal transmission, proteostasis, molecular recognition and their respective regulatory mechanisms. We apply a wide variety of methods from CRISPR gene editing of model organisms like Drosophila to biophysics (crystallography, cryoEM) and electrophysiology.

Training in our group is suitable for industry or academia, where trainees acquire a broad range of skills in all aspects of molecular biology and biochemistry.
BSc or BA with a major in science. For graduate studies, experience in the laboratory, especially molecular biology or biochemistry background, is preferred but not required. Experience in computational work is helpful.
If applying for a research technician position, experience in molecular biology and biochemistry is required.
