About the position:
The aim of the research project is to develop a state-of-the-art first-principles simulation methodology for electron dynamics in open-quantum systems and to apply it to realistic molecular based electronics, spintronics, and quantum computation architectures.
The research involves the implementation and optimization of the driven Liouville von Neumann approach within the realm to non-collinear time-dependent density functional theory.
Post-doctoral fellows will gain deep knowledge of the physics of open quantum systems, vast experience in coding and implementation, and hands-on practice in high-performance computing, analyzing data, and publishing research.
Candidacy Requirements:
- Proven experience in coding and calculating/running simulations of electron dynamics or electronic transport.
