About the position:
The position entails numerical, Finite Elements based simulations and analyses of a Kirigami-based structure.
The position involves working in collaboration with Northwestern Un., that will conduct corresponding experiments.
The postdoc is expected to engage in weekly meetings that some will be conducted with NU, show progress and results on a weekly basis that will shed light on intrinsic properties that Kirigami-based structures may have.
Candidacy Requirements:
The applicant is expected to have strong background in finite element analysis such as Abaqus, as well as nonlinear dynamics/chaos and stability analyses.
