The Tel Aviv University Sports Center, also known as the Sylvan Adams Sports Center and formerly the Elite Sports Center, is the university's sports complex at on the northwest corner of campus.

It has an outdoor Olympic pool, two semi-Olympic pools, a two-level gym, about 150 group classes a week and a spa. TAU students, including international students, can join at a student rate.

Sports Center Facilities

An outdoor Olympic-size pool;
Two semi-Olympic pools, heated so they can be used year-round, plus a toddler pool;
A gym of more than 1,000 square meters on two levels: strength machines and free weights downstairs, cardio upstairs, and an outdoor training terrace;
More than 150 classes per week, including HIIT, PUMP, indoor cycling, yoga, tai chi and Pilates;
A reformer Pilates studio (paid separately from membership)
Spa facilities with a jacuzzi and saunas;
An athletics field and stadium, basketball halls, and a football pitch;
Tennis and padel through partner academies on site
A spacious lawn area for recreation;
Cultural, social, and recreational events for all ages.

Membership Prices for TAU Students

Tel Aviv University students can choose a monthly or an annual membership:

Annual membership: from 162 ₪ a month
Monthly membership: 399 ₪ for one month, with no cancellation fee
New members pay a one-time registration fee of 99 ₪.
Parking at Gate 9 can be added to an annual student membership for 40 ₪ a month.

Student prices are valid until 31 December 2026. Membership includes the pools, gym, group classes, spa and the center's cultural events.

If you only want to swim, a single pool entry costs 75 ₪ for TAU students and a 10-entry card costs 650 ₪. Pool tickets cover the pools only, require a valid student card and are sold at the classes desk in the Goldreich building.

How to Join as an International Student

Membership is bought directly from the Sports Center, at the membership office or through the Sports Center website.

Ask for the TAU student rate and bring your student card. Before you start training, you sign a health declaration; where Israeli law requires it, you will also need a medical certificate.

Members enter with a personal chip, which cannot be shared. If you want to try the center first, a trial day costs 100 ₪, refunded if you then buy a membership.
