What are the requirements?
To become a part of the program, one must meet the qualifications that the Fellowship sets out, as the main expectation is that our students will hold a long-standing track record as “citizen scholar ambassadors.”
The fellowship aims to serve as an academic bond between nations through global-civic discourse, cultivating spaces and conversations for leaders on a wide-reaching, cross-cultural scale. Due to this, the Fox International Fellowship is awarded on account of both the research proposal and the personal leadership qualities of the candidate.

Testimonials
Yafit Shachar, Fox International Fellow
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience studies and research at an elite university, meet exceptional researchers, make connections, and be exposed to groundbreaking research that will impact the world of tomorrow.
This experience contributes a lot to me as a person. It allows me to be an active part of a diverse academic environment that is focused on research, broadening horizons, changing perspectives, and meeting fascinating and inspiring women and men every day.
From a research point of view, Yale's resources contribute greatly to my doctoral research and the pace of its progress; I work with a supervisor on the topic I am focusing on, and present my research to other academics from around the world through the many platforms the university has to offer. The Fox Fellowship is an enriching experience like no other. Do not hesitate to apply."
Jamila Elnashef, 2018-2019 Fox International Fellow
"The Fox program at Yale University is not a standard student exchange program, but a mentoring program that enables academics' pedagogical and personal development.
During this program, I was exposed to various projects managed by the professor in charge, Prof. Ben Kashur, in which he mentored program participants in our various research and methodology and held an important pedagogical dialogue with us throughout the program. In addition, as part of Fox's program, Prof. Kashur promoted several seminars and lectures by guest lecturers who sought to empower the construction of our academic habitus, intending to expose us to the American Academic culture, particularly in the Ivy League. Furthermore, I participated in several workshops held as part of the Fox program and within Yale University in general, which sought to provide direct training for the development of writing and presenting skills of research, improvement of academic language, correct use of body language, and content delivery. These workshops helped me hone critical thinking, and scientific writing of research proposals, resumes, various official letters, and articles.
During the fellowship, I took part in several seminars in the faculties of philosophy, sociology, history, and management and was able to make connections with leading researchers in various fields of interest. Making connections and building academic dialogue with Yale professors and professors from other institutions such as Harvard and MIT helped me refine and focus my research and provide different perspectives for future research concepts."
