Students will receive a full transcript from Tel Aviv University. It is the decision of your home university as to how the grades and credits will transfer. Please be sure to discuss this with your study abroad office prior to leaving for Israel.
Yes, all of the courses in at TAU International are taught in English. Students who are proficient in the Hebrew language can also choose to enroll in university-wide courses as well.
Semester and year-abroad students are required to take the pre-term Ulpan course. The Ulpan program is an intensive Hebrew language program offered at 11 levels, beginner to advanced.
Yes, students who are enrolled in semester and year-long programs do need to obtain a student visa from their nearest consulate. Please be sure to contact your local consulate for a list of required documents.
To request a transcript please log into your student portal account and complete the transcript request form.
No, you are not required to live in the dormitories, however the dorms are renovated apartmentstyle suites that are conveniently located very close to campus.
Yes, students have the option of requesting a roommate in the dormitories.
No, there is not a meal plan, however there are a number of inexpensive cafes and restaurants on campus, in Ramat Aviv, and in downtown Tel Aviv. Each dorm suite is also equipped with a kitchenette where you can test out your culinary skills!
