Tourist Visa (B/2)

To Whom Does This Apply?

Students and visitors participating in programs that are shorter than three months (or a stand-alone (single) course) may be able to enter Israel with a tourist visa without applying for an additional visa in advance.

However, from August 2024, visitors from visa-exempt countries are required to obtain an ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) to enter the state of Israel

An approved ETA-IL indicates that you are allowed to travel to Israel and stay up to 90 days per visit. More information can be found here, Please carefully review all the information provided at the link before traveling to Israel.

Important note: This is relevant only to those from countries who have a visa exemption agreement with Israel; for more information, contact the local Israeli Embassy near you.

If you are from a country not eligible for the ETA-IL, you will need to contact the local Israeli Embassy for further assistance on acquiring a visa to Israel.
