The Tel Aviv University Workshop on Israel and the Middle East (TAU Workshop) offers an intensive, immersive 12-day academic travel and study program for university faculty specializing in the modern Middle East.

Since 2006, the Workshop has brought together a global cohort of scholars seeking deeper insight into the Arab–Israeli conflict, Israeli and Palestinian politics, and regional transformations across the Middle East.
Who Should Apply?
The program is designed for:
- Early- and mid-career faculty in Middle East Studies with teach courses on Middle Eastern history, politics, religion and with a focus on the Israeli–Palestinian conflict
- Academics wanting firsthand field experience in Israel
- Faculty who have not previously spent extended time in Israel
