Program Overview

A brand-new research internship program in the Humanities and Social Sciences is available to all students from Summer 2022. Our Summer Research program is for those of you looking for a unique experience working with world-renowned professors at TAU. TAU is the ideal environment to learn from Professors in your field of interest and gain knowledge and professional research skills.

Experience first-hand the fascinating research in a variety of different subjects that include Political Science, Jewish History, Public Policy, Communication, Economics & more. This program is headed by our fierce Academic leader, Professor Milette Shamir, Vice President of Tel Aviv University. While we expect that our research interns arrive to campus, you may be able to personalize your research plans with your professor and pursue a model that is partially virtual and partially on campus. Set up your own schedule, receive academic support and guidance, and spend some time in the beautiful Tel Aviv in the summer months!

Beyond the benefit of working alongside the faculty member, our student life team will provide events throughout your time in Israel.

Program Highlights

  • Working with Tel Aviv University’s renowned professors from all different faculties
  • Experience a range of diverse topics of research
  • Enjoy cultural evening activities and overnight excursions around the country. Expect to discover the North of Israel, the Dead Sea and Jerusalem, while evening activities will take in some of Israel’s true wonders, including walking tours of Jaffa, graffiti tours in Tel Aviv, and night tours of Caesarea.
