COTLER POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP – CALL FOR PROPOSALS

About the position: 

The duration of the fellowship is six months (November 2023-April 2024), with a potential extension for a period of up to six months. The selected Fellow will be expected to take part in the activities of the Institute as well as engage in original and yielding research in one of the following fields:

  • New Media as a Challenge to Democracy
  • Democracy and Democratization in Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe
  • Present-day Manifestations of Antisemitism
  • Election Turnouts and the Means to Expand Them
  • Zionism in the 21st Century
Candidacy Requirements: 

The selected candidate will receive a monthly scholarship of up to 8,000 Shekels.
Applicants must earn their PhD degree before the commencement of the fellowship. Applications should be sent to: cotler@tauex.tau.ac.il by May 30, 2023, and include a CV and a short description (up to one page) of the intended study (in English, Hebrew, or Arabic). Selection will be made by June 15, 2023. The Institute will select a candidate based on its research priorities and reserves the right not to select any applicants.
