Call for Applications: GREP Research Program at Goethe University, Frankfurt (Spring–Summer 2027)

As part of Tel Aviv University’s collaboration with Goethe University, Frankfurt, TAU students are invited to participate in the GREP program – a research experience in Spring and Summer 2026, open to M.A. students in research-track programs.

Program Highlights:

Proposed Duration of Stay:

Between 2 and 6 months, to be completed within the months of May and September 2027.

Support and Benefits:

• One-time travel grant up to €1,000
• Accommodation and insurance covered by the host institution

Eligibility:

• M.A. students in research-track programs
• Students researching life sciences, natural sciences, social sciences and humanities
• Students interested in conducting research at Goethe University
• Sstudents under the age of 30
• Students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (83 out of 100)

Among Required Documents:

• CV in English
• Official transcripts in English
• Recommendation letter from your TAU supervisor
• Research proposal summary, using the host institution’s dedicated form, including a name of a mentor at Goethe with whom the student aim to work.

Application Process:

Stage 1:

Students will submit their application, by the deadline of Nov 13, 2026, to the email address- grep@uni-frankfurt.de. The application requires the following items:

• CV
• Motivation letter
• Name of a preferred Goethe academic staff member to use as supervisor

Stage 2:

The TAU international office will receive the names of students chosen to continue in the process and will ask them to fill out an internal application form by the deadline of Nov 25, 2026. The form will include:

• Certification of enrollment
• A recommendation letter from local supervisor (TAU)
• A declaration of participation in GREP webinar

Stage 3:

 Applicants who have been approved by the program to continue the process will be given further instructions. The applicants will be asked to fill out the Goethe Student Project Proposal Form.

כחלק משיתוף הפעולה של אוניברסיטת תל אביב עם אוניברסיטת Goethe, פרנקפורט סטודנטים.יות מאוניברסיטת תל אביב מוזמנים להשתתף בתוכנית GREP – תוכנית התנסות במחקר באביב ובקיץ 2027, המיועדת לסטודנטיות וסטודנטים למסלול מחקרי (M.A.).

מהי התוכנית?

למי זה מתאים:

• סטודנטיות וסטודנטים במסלול מחקרי לתואר שני  (M.A.)
• סטודנטים למדעי החיים, מדעי הטבע, מדעי החברה או מדעי הרוח.
• בעלי רצון לבצע מחקר באוניברסיטת  Goethe
• סטודנטים מתחת לגיל 30
• סטודנטים עם GPA  מינימלי של 3.0 (83 מתוך 100)

בין מסמכי ההגשה:

• קורות חיים באנגלית
• גליונות ציונים רשמיים באנגלית
• מכתב המלצה מהמנחה אוניברסיטת תל אביב
• תקציר הצעה למחקר לשהייה בגתה בטופס ייעודי של המוסד המארח, בו ייכלל שם מנחה מהמוסד המארח איתו הסטודנט.ית מעוניינים לחקור.

תהליך הגשת המועמדות:

שלב 1:

על הסטודנטים להגיש את מועמדותם עד תאריך 13 בנובמבר 2026 למייל  grep@uni-frankfurt.de ולצרף את המסמכים הבאים:

• קורות חיים
• מכתב מוטיבציה
• שם של חבר סגל אקדמי באוניברסיטת Goethe אשר ירצו כמנחה, מתוך הפרוייקטים המוצעים  (נא לא לפנות ישירות למנחה, אלא רק לשלוח את שמו בהגשת המועמדות)

הגשת מועמדות מותנת בהשתתפות בוובינר - הרשמה לוובינר תעשה כאן.

שלב 2:

המשרד לחילופי סטודנטים של אוניברסיטת תל אביב יצור קשר עם סטודנטים שנבחרו להמשיך בתהליך, ויבקש מהם להשלים הגשת מועמדות פנימית עד תאריך 25 בנובמבר 2026.  הגשת המועמדות תכלול:

• אישור לימודים באוניברסיטת תל אביב
• המלצה ממנחה מקומי (אוניברסיטת תל אביב)
• אישור על השתתפות בוובינר המקוון של אוניברסיטת Goethe

שלב  3:

סטודנטים שיבחרו להמשיך בתהליך על ידי התוכנית יקבלו הנחיות להמשך. כמו כן, יתבקשו למלא טופס הצעת מחקר ייעודי של האוניברסיטה המארחת.
