MA in Security and Diplomacy

My experience pursuing MA in Security and Diplomacy at Tel Aviv University was nothing short of transformative.

It enabled me to forge lifelong relationships and provided me with an invaluable knowledge base by allowing me to explore an often misinterpreted country.

The program was instrumental in shaping my professional trajectory and personal development, it was a rich academic and cultural immersion experience of a lifetime.

Tel Aviv University’s curriculum was meticulously designed, blending theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The program’s focus on current global security issues, diplomatic strategies, and international relations equipped me with essential tools and insights.

Something unique about this course was the field trips along the borders which provided everyone with a comprehensive understanding of Israel’s culture, political structure, strategic advantages and regional threats.

Although half of the degree shifted online due to COVID-19, it was an experience in itself. It provided each international student with a strong sense of belonging and made me realise the beauty of togetherness.

Studying at TAU provided me with unmatched hands-on experience and skills which I confidently took into the professional world as I worked at the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi for almost 3 years as The Public Diplomacy Officer.

During my tenure at the Embassy, I worked on developing, coordinating, and delivering the Embassy's Public Diplomacy Strategy, and generated creative ways to promote projects in the field of, education, innovation, and culture-enhancing people-to-people connection.

This role included working with Tel Aviv Univerity and facilitating various projects they are implementing in India, I am glad that I had the opportunity as an alumna to work so closely with the University representatives for the past few years and I wish that this connection continues in the future.
