Gear up for success: Begin in English, master mechanical engineering in Hebrew, and build your future in Israel!

Take a preparatory year before formally joining the Hebrew-taught bachelor's program and earning your bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

Upon successfully completing the preparatory year with the required grades and GPA, you’ll transition into the regular Hebrew-taught BSc in Mechanical Engineering program, designed to equip you with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Through a robust curriculum and access to cutting-edge labs, you’ll take a wide range of mechanical engineering courses in core areas such as mechanics, thermodynamics, materials, and control systems. You'll also explore advanced topics like robotics, mechatronics, computer-aided design, and energy systems.

"This program aims to reach out to olim (and potential olim) from around the world, and allow them an easy transition into Israeli academia by starting their technical studies in English, while at the same time building their Hebrew proficiency to a level where they can succeed in their studies in Hebrew."—Brian Rosen, Vice Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Engineering

The School of Mechanical Engineering at Tel Aviv University is part of the Faculty of Engineering that drives forward-thinking innovation across diverse engineering domains. The School focuses on areas such as robotics and mechatronics, thermodynamics, fluid and solid mechanics, energy systems, materials science, and computational design.

The School provides an excellent pathway to earning a mechanical engineering degree in Israel, offering a full academic track that includes bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, and postdoctoral programs.
