What would The Lowy International School be without our international partners? We are extremely proud of those with whom we work and innovate.
Here’s a highlight reel of SOME recent collaborative visits and developments!
North and South America
We recently welcomed representatives from Columbia University, Yale University, Northwestern University, George Washington University and Harvard University, among others. Back in the fall, we also welcomed a delegation of presidents from Canadian universities, including McGill, Western, Waterloo and Concordia. There were conversations about shared challenges and strategic goals, and action items set for working together and widening collaboration.
We’re also excited about new study abroad agreements with University of Washington, Eastern Michigan University and Baylor University, and renewed agreements with John Hopkins University, Vanderbilt University and Brandeis University.
Finally, The Lowy International School just welcomed the Link School of Business from São Paulo, Brazil for the second time. Approximately 60 students have arrived! And we’re preparing for the launch of a new customized summer program with a consortium of Michigan universities, which begins this June.

Canadian university delegations visiting TAU
Europe
We enjoyed visits from and/or collaborations with valued partners such as Manchester University, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the University of Potsdam, as well as from a wider delegation made up of British academics specializing in the fields of sustainability and clean growth. It was additionally a pleasure to meet with ambassadors, such as from France and from Slovenia, and to pay a visit to our partner Venice International University on the incredible San Servolo island.
Moreover, we were delighted to recently launch, in collaboration with Goethe University Frankfurt, a new joint center with a focus on interfaith studies. Furthermore, we recently launched a new annual fall program with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, which provides both an internship and education in cyber security.

Middle East and Euro-Asia
We have very much enjoyed growing our relationship with Koç University in Turkey and launching a new regional development program for Turkish and Moroccan students. We were also pleased to host the ambassador of Kazakhstan, as well as Uzbekistan’s long-time president of the Academy of Sciences, who additionally gave a lecture during his time at TAU.
Finally, we are very excited to have announced a new partnership with the Abraham Accords Peace Institute, and are looking forward to advancing academic research, collaboration and partnerships in the Middle East.

Asia and Pacific
During a recent trip to India, we met with IIT Madras; IIT Delhi; Kumaraguru Institutions – a group of private colleges in Southern India; the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology; and OP Jindal Global university. While there, we also co-convened the 15th India-Israel forum, reflecting on the significance of the strategic academic partnerships between the two countries.

Back at TAU, we also recently hosted several delegations, including from Taiwan (with the president of National Taiwan University); South Korea (with presidents from Korean universities POSTECH and Seoul); and China (the mayor of Shenzhen). We welcomed the Confederation of Indian Industry and we were very excited to sign an agreement with the National University of Singapore to collaborate together on quantum-based technologies and quantum data science.

Regarding Australia, we very much enjoyed hosting the governor of Victoria, along with other government representatives from the state, and we recently held very fruitful discussions with the University of Adelaide about a new artificial intelligence collaboration.
