I am Catharina from The Netherlands. Last year I graduated high school in my home town. I didn’t really now what I wanted to study or    even where. That is why I choose to take a year to broaden my perspective and and participate in the Academic Gap Year program here at Tel Aviv University. I think this program is the perfect opportunity to experience what college is like without directly diving into an undergraduate study. The program has a wide variety of classes, from "The Essence of Judaism" to "Digital Discourse". The professors are really enthusiastic and passionate about the subjects they teach which makes everything even more interesting to follow. The Gap Year program is also a great opportunity to meet people from different countries and backgrounds and exchange cultural traditions which makes you more openminded to hear other peoples opinions and views on the world. And all this in a city like Tel Aviv, modern, welcoming and lively, in a country with a lot of interesting history.
