Dear Students,
Greetings from Tel Aviv University! We are so excited to welcome you to campus very soon.
Current Regulations for arriving to Israel as of May 2022.
All regulations can be found HERE.
Any student who arrives after May 20, 2022 is not required to complete a PCR test at the airport.
Prior to Departure: Students should fill out the entry statement no more than 48 hours before departure. Upon completion of the form, the statement will be sent via PDF to your email. Please keep this printed or digitally for inspections throughout your journey to Israel and until you return home. If you have a student visa (A2), you are not required to take a pre-departure antigen or PCR test. If you are entering on a tourist visa, you ARE required to take a pre-departure antigen test (within 24 hours of your flight) or PCR (up to 3 days prior to your flight). Home tests are still not eligible for entry.
Upon arrival: Visitors or students no longer have to complete a PCR test at the airport upon arrival from May 20, 2022. There is no longer the need to quarantine after May 20, 2022 upon arrival.
Moreover, before your arrival, we ask you to please read this Arrivals section of our web site very carefully. As you explore the various tabs, you will see that we have provided many details for your first days with us: Orientation Schedules, Housing Check-In Details, Important Contacts, and more. In particular, the Resources tab will provide much needed detailed information for you – you will find there a Pre-Departure Handbook, a Welcome Kit, our Academic Handbook, and much more.
