The program, created by Kyushu university in partnership with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), offers participants to experience different cultures and academic environments in the region.

This year, the two week long program at Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. 

Through AsTW courses, students will broaden their knowledge and gain a deeper understanding about ASEAN cooperation. The academic aspect of the program will be equal to 3 credits (check with TAU faculty secretariat about conversion to TAU credits)

Application Requirements: 

• Application form 
• Academic Transcript issued by home university
• GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 and higher (83 and above)
• A Reference Letter from academic staff member
• Essay in English (Why I want to join AsTW? 800 to 1000 words)
• Language Proficiency Certificate
• certification of health 
• Proof of Enrollment 

Fees and Funding: 

Registration Fee: 128,000 JPY (2,502 NIS)

Kyushu University Tuition Fee (3 credits): 44,400 JPY (868 NIS)

Scholarship Opportunity: Kyushu University offers a limited number of scholarships that cover part or all of the registration fee. The number of scholarships available and the amount awarded will depend on the number of applicants.

The scholarship will not cover tuition fee, travel expenses, local transport of personal expenses.
