Migration Studies
Migration Studies
Individuals interested in the field of migration – either from a professional or academic perspective - have a chance to join the International M.A. Program in Migration Studies to complete 5 or 6 academic credits during the summer semester. Summer students are quickly immersed into the field and are asked to contemplate some of the most complex questions that academics and professional face when studying and working in the field of migration. This includes the legal and ethical aspects of migration, immigration law, health and migration, ethnic identity and cultural sensitivity, integration, the role of international organizations and the connections between migration and international development.
At the end of the semester, students will also take part in a Professional Development Workshop to further explore different aspects of the work that deals with different groups of migrants both in Israel and internationally.
