Meet with anti-Assad activist Issam Zeitoun to discuss his perspective on current events in Syria and hear his analysis of contemporary Islamic attitudes toward Israel.
Zeitoun is an anti-Assad activist, originally from the Syrian Golan, who has been living in Germany since 1990. He is an outspoken critic of the anti-Israel ideologies of Islamic and nationalist movements around the Arab World and has advocated for the creation of a safe zone in the Golan Heights.
