 About the Program

Through the TAU–NYU Global Exchange Program, TAU undergraduate students have the opportunity to study at NYU’s global academic sites while continuing to work toward their degree. Each destination offers its own academic opportunities and cultural experiences, supported by NYU’s commitment to academic excellence.

 Who Can Apply?

Preference is given to TAU undergraduate students enrolled in programs for outstanding students.

Eligible applicants include:

• First- and second-year undergraduate students enrolled in one of the following programs:
  • The Adi Lautman Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding Students
  • The Periphery Program for Outstanding Students
  • The Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) Program
  • The Humanities Honors Program
• Second-year students and above who are not enrolled in a program for outstanding students, provided they meet the academic eligibility requirement below.*

 Application Requirements

Applicants to the TAU–NYU Global Exchange Program must submit the following:

• Proof of English Proficiency: Documentation demonstrating that the applicant meets NYU’s English-language proficiency requirements.
• Statement of Motivation: A statement highlighting the applicant’s open-mindedness, intellectual curiosity, and leadership skills.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Administrative and Academic Course Approval Form: Please refer to the explanatory video for guidance.

*TAU undergraduate students who are not enrolled in a program for outstanding students must have a minimum annual GPA of 90 to be eligible to apply.

Applications for Fall 2027 must be submitted by November 30, 2026.

 Do I Need to Pay Extra Tuition?

No. Participation in the TAU–NYU Global Exchange Program does not require additional tuition fees beyond your regular TAU tuition.

 Is Housing Provided?

TAU students may have the option of staying in NYU student residences. Housing availability and arrangements may vary by destination.
