Research work

The lab takes a multi-scale approach from single proteins to the organism and system level, using various cutting-edge technologies, most notably advanced microscopy, both in cultured cells and in the nematode C. elegans. Its goal is to understand the molecular mechanisms cells and tissues employ to change shape, migrate, sense, and generate mechanical forces essential for embryonic development and go awry in many diseases.
