About the Author of A Poet Lost for Words

Yu Jingyi is a poet, producer, director, and founder of the China-Israel Culture and Art Foundation. She ran her own theater and producing company in China. Recently, she moved from Beijing to Tel Aviv and has been traveling between the two countries, producing dramas and facilitating communication in cultures and arts.

Her representative productions include the Israeli plays Requiem By Hanoch Levin. Jingyi’s other major literary publication is the JY Poem Collection. She is currently working on a collection of short stories and a stage production.
