Call for Application: Research Fellowship in France!
PhD students for Tel Aviv University are welcome to apply for the Chateaubriand Fellowship for research in a French academic institution (university, research institute, laboratory, graduate school, or equivalent institution). The selected researchers will receive a monthly stipend of €1,704 for a period of 3 to 4 months.
Research Fields:
The fellowship is open to PhD students in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and the mathematics), with priority given to research in the following areas:
- Digital Sciences and Artificial Intelligence
- Environmental Sciences, Energy, and Low-Carbon Transportation
- Space and Deep-Sea Research
- Food Security
- Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold Israeli citizenship. (Applicants with dual Israeli-French citizenship are not eligible.)
- Applicants must be 35 years of age or younger.
Application Documents:
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- CV (Max 2 pages)
- Copy of the highest academic degree obtained
- Research Proposal (Max 2 pages)
- Invitation Letter from a host institution in France
- Cover Letter (Max one page)
- Up to 3 Letters of Recommendation (Max 1 page per letter)
- Copy of an Israeli passport
