Housing & Costs

In general, all Short-Term and summer program students can enjoy our campus accommodations if there is availability. Students can be housed in a number of different housing facilities. Students should note that while we do our best to accommodate requests for a specific facility or roommate, they cannot be guaranteed and should not be assumed. Please also note that specific requests of placement (such as specific floor or view) cannot be taken into consideration.

TAU housing incurs an additional fee. For more information about on-campus housing, visit the Housing page. Note that the rate for this program will be calculated according to the program dates.

Note that housing is not available for Winter Ulpan students.

 

Scholarships, Discounts, and Other Important Pricing Notes:

• Current Lowy International School degree students (BA, BSC, MA) are eligible for a tuition discount for a Fall or Spring semester Hebrew course. Please inquire with SAteam@tauex.tau.ac.il for more information on pricing and registration details.

• For alumni of a Lowy International School Ulpan programs, there is a tuition discount for participating in another TAU International Ulpan. To receive the discount you must email SAteam@tauex.tau.ac.il at the time of (re)application. Welcome back!!

• For New Olim, the tuition fee for TAU International Ulpans is as stated above. To receive a discount you must email SAteam@tauex.tau.ac.il at the time of application. 

• Did you know that the Lowy International School offers many summer scholarships for students all over the world? We strongly encourage all students to check out our Lowy International scholarships page for more details and instructions on how to apply! Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity!
  There are also several funding opportunities outside of the Lowy International School that students interested in Ulpan can apply for, including (for students from the EU) the WUJS Scholarship! Click here for more details!

• There may be an option to provide additional Hebrew tutoring outside the Ulpan classroom as needed (this is only an option for students who are enrolled in Hebrew Ulpan or a Hebrew semester class; not available for Independent Study). This additional support cannot be guaranteed and is based on teacher availability at the specific student level. If available, there will be an additional fee for the extra tutoring and it will be the sole responsibility of the student to cover.
