General Admission Requirements


The following documents should be submitted to your online student profile.

Please upload only the requested documents listed here.

  1. B.Sc. or B.A. degree in neuroscience, life sciences, psychology, or any other degree like exact sciences, engineering, or linguistics with a cumulative GPA average of 88 or above (Israeli scale).
  2. Diploma (Graduation Certificate) and Official transcript from each post-secondary school (college or university) you attended. Professionally certified English translations of each transcript (where applicable) must be included.

Official documents (Diploma and Transcripts) must be signed and stamped.
The official documents can also be sent digitally directly from the institution to our email address: sagolmsc@tauex.tau.ac.il

  1. Two Academic Letters of Recommendation, plus names and email addresses of the two academic researchers who recommend you to engage in advanced research studies.
  2. The letters of academic recommendation will be submitted in English and directly from the recommenders through a link on the portal or directly to the program’s email.
    The recommendations will not be accepted directly from the candidate.
  3. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  4. English proficiency results (for more information on this, see here)
  5. Copy of a valid passport (AND a copy of your Israeli ID, if you have one)
  6. Passport-style photo (white or light background, headshot only, JPEG/JPG format). This photo will be used for your student ID card and is not used as part of the admissions process.
  7. PowerPoint Presentation - Applicants are asked to prepare a short presentation of exactly 5 minutes, to be presented during their interview.
    The presentation should comprise only four slides in the following order:
    *Slide #1 – Curriculum Vitae (CV).
    *Slides #2-3 – Description of the research/project you conducted during your undergraduate studies.
    *Slide #4 – Future plans: the areas that you intend to select.
    (No slide should include animation)
  8. Complete the online application form in the student portal .

Online Application Process

Candidates who meet the academic requirements, paid the application fee, and submitted all the documents on time shall be invited for an admittance interview via zoom.

Program admission is processed after an interview with the international program admission committee, which selects the most suitable candidates.

 

English Language Requirements

All applicants applying to TAU International English-speaking programs who are from non-English speaking countries or are non-native speakers of English must provide proof of English proficiency as part of the application requirements. *Please note that English tests scores are valid for five years.

 

Prerequisite mandatory courses:

Studies are conditional on the completion of pre-requirement courses. 

This list includes mandatory courses that should be taken before acceptance to the program.

These courses can be also taken in Coursera or as other online university courses. 

  

  

* The applicants need to have or complete courses (online, e.g. Coursera) to be officially accepted to the program. 

* The courses must be taught at a recognized academic institution and a certificate of academic credit and a grade of 85 or higher (for a particular course) must be issued. 

* After receiving all the requested documents through your Student Portal and only after acceptance, we will update you on which courses need to be completed (based on your transcripts) and we will send links to specific courses that must be completed online before the beginning of the program.
