Students from Canada
- Canadian Students should send their High School Transcript to our Canadian Office.
- If a student's native language is not English or if previous education has been conducted in a language other than English, the student will be required to submit a TOEFL/TOIEC score.
- Because a uniform scheme for assigning percentage grades in Canada does not exist, the grade point average requirements vary greatly. The grade point averager required for admission is usually a 75% or higher.
- High School applicants are evaluated based on their "top five" pre-university (4U or 4M) course averages. A minimum of six 4U or 4M courses are required for admission; at least four of these required courses, as well as all prerequisite courses, must be taken at the 4U level.
- CEGEP students’ Minimum admission requirements - One year of CEGEP with a minimum of 12 academic courses. (High-school equivalent courses are not accepted.)
For Study Abroad prospective students
For all Canadian provinces or territories, a successful completion of a Grade 12 is required. For the province of Quebec, Secondary V is required. In order to apply and be submitted we require that the applicant is eighteen years of age by the first official day of class.
Our Office in Canada will assess the current academic strengths of the applicant by reviewing any completed high school credits and admission testing scores. If the student has been admitted into a Canadian University, we will require the letter of acceptance.
For our students’ convenience, our office in Canada works closely with study abroad students primary university to make sure that upon the classes completion, appropriate credits are granted. Before coming to Israel, students will receive a letter of permission from the study abroad office which will assure that all the courses to be taken at TAU will be accepted and recognized in their home university.
