Eligibility

This program is open to undergraduates who have completed 2 full semesters of undergraduate work and have a grade point average of 80% (3.0/4.0 scale) and above.

 

 

Required Application Documents

To apply, submit all of the required documents listed below to the TAU Student Portal (Online Application System).

• Online Application Form: Please make sure that you select the right program. (Summer internship program OR Summer internship program with JLIC)
• $60 application fee
• CV/Resume
• For Lowy International summer programs, we do accept unofficial transcripts from all higher education institutions attended, including a copy of any diplomas received. All transcripts can be uploaded to the TAU student account and should be in PDF format and in English (or translated by a notary).
• Two academic recommendation letters
• All applicants applying to Lowy International English-speaking programs who are from non-English speaking countries or are non-native speakers of English must provide proof of English proficiency as part of the application requirements. In addition to the above, any applicant may be required to interview with the Lowy International Internship Coordinator as part of the application process as well as interview with the company.

 

Required Pre-Departure Items

Upon acceptance, all students are required to upload a scanned copy of their passport picture page clearly showing their passport number and other biographic details to their Student Portal Record. All students are also required to upload a passport photo (small photo) clearly showing the face that will be used for the TAU Student ID (no sunglasses or hats should appear in the photo).

 

In addition, the forms below are to be submitted upon acceptance to the program and prior to arrival on the program (or in some cases, at the time of confirmation as noted below). Failure to submit these items will result in a student not being officially confirmed to the program and/or not registered for TAU courses:

 

• Lowy International Medical Form
• Lowy International Student Code of Conduct
• Lowy International Signed Letter of Agreement (this is linked to the Confirmation Form and must be submitted at the time of confirmation to the program; students will not be considered confirmed until this is submitted)
• Internship Agreement (due immediately upon confirmation to the program)
