The One-Year International Program in Conflict Resolution and Mediation MA taught in English

OVERVIEW

This one-year Masters program aims to offer students around the world the opportunity to study the fundamentals of international conflict resolution at its core. In response to the ever-increasing recognition in the academic world of the importance of conflict resolution, both as a credible research field and a field of practice, we intend to equip our students with the necessary academic and practical tools to assess, manage and resolve conflicts.

Our interdisciplinary curriculum will expose students to a comprehensive study of conflicts and their resolution from numerous perspectives, ranging from international law to psychological and economic approaches. The students will be guided throughout their studies by the negotiation and mediation skills that they will gradually cultivate. This curriculum will allow our graduates to successfully expand their career opportunities and responsibilities in a variety of fields.

The faculty is comprised of exceptional professors from prestigious Israeli universities and successful practitioners, who will provide our students with the extensive knowledge and tools needed for venturing into the field of conflict resolution. Many of our faculty members have been engaged in historical Middle East negotiations, and are committed to sharing the intricacies of their hands-on experience with our students.

The program will encourage and support its students to enroll in internships during their studies. It will also help graduates of the program with finding job placements.

Students interested in this program should send inquiries and application materials directly to the department, which can be found at http://www.resolution.tau.ac.il
